NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE
CITY OF PILOT POINT, TEXAS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS, THAT:

The City of Pilot Point, Texas proposes to institute annexation proceedings to enlarge and extend the boundary limits of said city to include the following described territory, to-wit:       

Property Description: Approximately 31.156 acres Jason Smith Survey, Abstract Number 1146, Denton County, Texas, and being a part of tract of land described in the deed to Land Advisors, LTD., a Texas Limited Partnership, as recorded in county clerk’s file No. 06-15457 Real Property Records of Denton County, Texas. The 31.156 acres of land for annexation into the City of Pilot Point, Texas, is generally located at the southeast corner of Farm to Market Road 1385 and Farm to Market Road 455.

Two public hearings will be held by and before the City Council of the City of Pilot Point, Texas on Monday the 8th day of August, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. and Monday the 22nd day of August at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, located at 102 E. Main Street, Pilot Point, Texas, for all persons interested in the above proposed annexation. At said time and place all such persons shall have the right to appear and be heard. Of all said matters and things, all persons interested in the things and matters herein mentioned, will take notice.
