Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Krugerville will hold a public hearing on September 30, 2008 at 7:00 p.m.in the City Council Chambers located at 5097 Highway 377 Krugerville, Texas 76227 to hear concerns for against the following:

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING EXHIBIT “A”, THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE BY ADDING SECTION 5-2 THEREOF, ESTABLISHING A CORRIDOR OVERLAY DISTRICT; PROVIDING REGULATIONS; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE, CHAPTER 14 OF THE KRUGERVILLE CODE OF ORDINANCES, BY AMENDING THE REGULATIONS RELATING TO MASONRY EXTERIOR REQUIREMENTS; AMENDING THE REGULATIONS RELATING TO ACCESSORY BUILDINGS; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Krugerville will hold a public hearing to hear concerns for or against the zoning of Agri-Pet Inc. A.K.A. Eclipse Mercantile Company to C2 zoning on September 30, 2008 in the City Council Chambers located at 5097 Highway 377.
Being all that certain lot, tract or parcel of land situated in the J. Bridges Survey, Abstract Number 36, Denton County, Texas, and being part of that certain called 40.121 acre tract of land described in deed to Charles R. Hamilton, et ux, recorded in Volume 864, Page 673 of the Deed Records of Denton County, Texas, and being part of that certain called 3.500 acre tract of land described in deed to Agri-Pet Inc., recorded in Clerk’s File Number 94-44528 of the Real Property Records of Denton County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at “ rebar set on the west line of said 40.121 acre tract and said 3.500 acre tract, being N 03°02’01" E, 137.68 feet from a “ rebar set at the southwest corner thereof, said point being on the east line of U.S. Highway 377; THENCE N 03°02’01" E, 266.74 feet along the west line of said tracts and the east line of U.S. Highway 377 to a “ rebar found at the northwest corner of said 3.500 acre tract, same being the westerly southwest corner of that certain tract of land described in deed to A.L. Paul, recorded in Clerk’s File Number 93-92013 of the Real Property Records of Denton County, Texas; THENCE S 87°14’51" E, 377.47 feet along the common line between said 3.500 acre tract and said A.L. Paul tract to a “ rebar found at the northeast corner of said 3.500 acre tract; THENCE S 03°02’01" E, 266.50 feet along said common line to a “rebar set;THENCE N 87°17’00" W, 377.47 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing approximately 2.310 acres of land, more or less.

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

The City of Pilot Point, Texas is accepting sealed proposals for Contract City Attorney Sealed proposals will be accepted until 3:00 PM, Friday, September 26, 2008 at City Hall, 102 E. Main Street, P. O. Box 457, Pilot Point, Texas 76258. Proposal opening will immediately follow closing. Proposal specifications are available at City Hall, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM. Contact Lisa Henderson, City Secretary, for more information. The City of Pilot Point reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.

Notice of Public Hearing on Budget for Fiscal Year 2008-2009

The City Council for the City of Pilot Point, Texas will Conduct Public Hearings to Receive Comments on the Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2008/2009. The Hearing will be held on Monday September 8, 2008 and September 22, 2008 at 6:30 PM at Pilot Point City Hall, 102 East Main Street in the Council Chamber. You have a right to attend the hearings and make comments. You are encouraged to attend and make comments if you wish.
