Krugerville - Chief of Police

The City of Krugerville seeks an experienced law enforcement professional who is committed to citizen service, responsive to community interaction and displays exemplary professional standards. Outstanding leadership and administrative skills, exceptional oral/written communication ability and unquestioned personal/professional ethics are sought. Minimum 5 years progressively responsible municipal law enforcement experience desired. Supervisory and/or management experience is preferred. The Chief of Police reports to the city administrator and will be responsible for every facet of police operations. The chief will initially manage staff of 1 to 2 officers, and will be required to perform patrol duties until department grows to sufficient size to warrant a full time management position. Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License with acceptable driving record and a valid, current TCLEOSE Certificate. Salary is based on qualifications and experience.
