Bearcats beat Brady in semifinals
Jarman Johnson scored three times and Seth Tilley threw two touchdown passes to lead the Pilot Point Bearcats to a 35-14 victory over previously unbeaten Brady in a Class 2A Division I semifinal Saturday (Dec. 5) at Tarleton State University in Stephenville.

Pilot Point took advantage of two Brady turnovers in the first half to build a 21-0 lead before the Bulldogs got on the scoreboard in the second period. Brady pulled to within a touchdown, 21-14, early in the third period, but Pilot Point scored twice more in the second half to seal the victory.

Austin Balderas and Gareth Gengenbach caught touchdown passes from Tilley, who set a new school record for touchdown passes in a season with his performance.

The Bearcats (14-0) will play Kirbyville in the state championship game at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Texas State University's Jim Wacker Stadium in San Marcos. Kirbyville (12-2) beat Comfort 60-7 in a semifinals game at Waco last Saturday.
