COUNCIL TO CONSIDER BIDS ON WATER PROJECTS — The Pilot Point City Council will meet at 6:30 tonight to consider awarding bids for water improvements. The council will also be brought up to speed on annexation and non-development agreements.


MCCULLOUGH EARNS STATE SPOT — Aubrey senior Maggie McCullough captured first place in poetry at the UIL Academic Class 3A Region I meet and will advance to state.


LADY CATS FINISH OFF PERFECT RUN — The Pilot Point Lady Cats finished off a perfect run through District 12-2A Friday with a 7-0 win over Farmersville. Skylar Cagle struck out 14. Allison Strittmatter doubled and drove in a run.


POST-SIGNAL WINS SWEEPSTAKES — The Pilot Point Post-Signal won the sweepstakes award in the North and East Texas Press AssociationŐs Better Newspapers Contest.
