Nature Exploration Day at Isle du Bois

The Isle du Bois Unit, 100 PW 4137 in Pilot Point will have Nature Center Exploration Day, 10 a.m. July 12, Nature Center.

Painted Rocks, circus at PP library

The Pilot Point Community Library at 324 S. Washington St. will offer Adult Craft: Painted Rocks, 2 p.m. Friday; Preschool Storytime (ages 0-5), 10 a.m. Tuesday; Wacky Wednesday: Ramazinis Two Person Circus (all ages), 10 a.m. Wednesday; and Stitch & Sketch (ages 10 and up), 11 a.m. Thursday.

Fun Friday, Lego Club at Aubrey library

Volunteers needed for Cross Roads Market

The Cross Roads Parks and Recreation board are seeking volunteers from 8 a.m.noon on Saturdays to assist with the community market through August. If interested, email [email protected].

Market, Art Walk planned for Square

The next Pilot Point Farmers Market will be from 8 a.m.-noon Saturday on the Historic Downtown Square. There will be handmade goods and home-baked products. Live music will be provided by Matt Grigsby.

The second annual Art Walk will be held in conjunction with the market. Tickets cost $20 and can be purchased at pilotpoint. org.

City of Pilot Point requests public input

The city of Pilot Point will have a Safe Streets for All come and go public input booth from 8 a.m.-noon Saturday during the Pilot Point Farmers Market as well as a family-friendly listening session at the Pilot Point City Hall, 102 E. Main St. Members of the project team will be available to discuss questions, and residents are asked to complete a short survey. There will be drinks, snacks and kid’s activities.

Car Show to be held in PP

Car Bois and Moto & Latte will host a Car Show from 8 a.m.-noon Saturday at 110 E. Liberty St. Entry fee is $20. Awards will be given at noon.

Penny Paws to have pet vaccination clinic

160-year celebration at PP Church of Christ

The Pilot Point Church of Christ will have a 160th birthday celebration Sunday with worship starting at 10:45 a.m. followed by a potluck lunch and ice cream social at 426 S. Jefferson St.

Open House send-off at Selz & Henzler

Tioga VFD sells raffle tickets

The Tioga Volunteer Fire Department is having the annual Fourth of July fundraiser. Tickets are available for $5 each or $100 for 25 tickets. The raffle will be held July 4. Prizes include a cabin rental in Broken Bow for four nights, gas griddle, smoker and $500 Amazon gift card.

There are a variety of youth summer camps available in Pilot Point, Aubrey and Tioga to help families fill their free time.

Back to School Bash scheduled for PP

A Back to School Bash will be from 9 a.m.-noon Aug. 9 at Pilot Point Middle School, 828 S. Harrison St. for Pilot Point ISD students hosted by Pilot Point Police Department, Pilot Point ISD, PPISD Police Department and Pilot Point Chamber of Commerce. There will be free food, school supplies, haircuts and bicycles while supplies last. Students must be present with a parent or guardian to receive supplies.
