TRAFFIC – Krugerville police made a traffic stop around 7:30 p.m. Sunday for no registration in the 500 block of Springhill Road. Upon talking to the driver, the officer noticed the smell of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. A probable cause search resulted in finding five THC vapes, a digital scale with marijuana residue and multiple baggies containing a green leafy residue. The driver was issued citations for failure to maintain financial responsibility and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was also given a warning for no registration.
CRASH – A two-vehicle crash Saturday was dispatched to CRPD in the 11200 block of U.S. 380. No injuries were reported.
PUBLIC INTOXICATION – A man, 44, was arrested Saturday by Aubrey PD on a charge of public intoxication in the 10100 block of Cedar Lake Drive.
CRASH – On Saturday, Cross Roads PD responded to a two-vehicle accident with no reports of injury in the 11900 block of U.S. 380.
WARRANT – A man, 39, was arrested June 27 by APD on a Denton County warrant of violation of protective order in the 4000 block of Equestrian Drive.
DISTURBANCE – Cross Roads police investigated a disturbance June 27 involving a firearm in the 11000 block of U.S. 380.
THEFT – A woman, 34, reported to Cross Roads PD that her vehicle was stolen while she was at work June 27 in the 8700 block of U.S. 380. It was later recovered in Celina.
ASSAULT – On June 26, Aubrey police arrested a man, 18, on a charge of assault causes bodily injury family violence impeding breath and unlawful restraint in the 500 block of Pine Ridge Lane.
SHOPLIFTING – A woman, 30, was given a citation for shoplifting by Cross Roads police June 26 in the 1700 block of U.S. 380.
CRASH – Around 10 a.m. June 26, KVPD responded to a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of U.S. 377 and Arvin Hill Road. One driver was taken to Medical City Denton.
CRASH – A two-vehicle accident with no report of injury was received June 25 by CRPD near the intersection of U.S. 380 and FM 424.
AGENCY ASSIST – At 4:35 p.m. June 24, KVPD assisted medics in the 5200 block of U.S. 377.
CRASH – Cross Roads police responded to a three-vehicle crash June 24 in the 100 block of Naylor Road. A man, 31, was arrested on a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
ASSAULT – A teenager was arrested June 24 by APD on a charge of assault by contact family violence in the 9900 block of Lexington Drive.
DISTURBANCE – A disturbance call was dispatched to Cross Roads PD on June 24 in the 12000 block of U.S. 380. A man, 33, was issued a criminal trespass warning.
AGENCY ASSIST – Krugerville PD assisted Aubrey Fire Department at 4:53 a.m. June 24 in the 300 block of Squires Lane.
CRASH – A two-vehicle crash was investigated by CRPD on June 23 near the intersection of U.S. 380 and Pottershop Road.
ROBBERY – A man, 18, was arrested June 23 by APD on charges of robbery and burglary of vehicles in the 9800 block of Walnut Hill Drive.
DWI – A woman, 38, was arrested June 23 by Aubrey PD on a charge of driving while intoxicated with child under age 15 in the 900 block of South U.S. 377.
MEET COMPLAINANT– A woman, 37, reported to KVPD around 12:30 p.m. June 23 that an assault had occurred May 23 in the 800 block of Fairmeadow Circle.
FRAUD – A woman, 37, reported to CRPD that a possible fraud occurred at a financial institution June 23 in the 8800 block of U.S. 380.
AGENCY ASSIST – Around 10:30 a.m. June 23, Krugerville police assisted an outside agency on a medical call in the 6000 block of New Hope Road.
