The city of Pilot Point is conducting an online survey and requesting resident input about streets, trails and sidewalks through the end of July. To participate, go to planpilotpoint.com.

Nature Exploration Day at Isle du Bois

The Isle du Bois Unit, 100 PW 4137 in Pilot Point will have Nature Center Exploration Day, 10 a.m. July 12, Nature Center.

Strike, Scrape, Shake at PP library

The Pilot Point Community Library at 324 S. Washington St. will offer Preschool Storytime (ages 0-5), 10 a.m. Tuesday; Book Club, 2 p.m. Tuesday; Wacky Wednesday: Strike, Scrape and Shake Show by Mark Shelton (all ages), 10 a.m. Wednesday; Stitch & Sketch (ages 10 and up), 11 a.m. Thursday; Master Naturalists: Butterflies (adults), 2 p.m. July 11; and Game Day Saturday, 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. July 12.

Senior Bingo, movie at Aubrey library

The Aubrey Area Library at 226 Countryside Drive will offer Senior Bingo (ages 50 and up), 10:30 a.m. Saturday; Storytime (all ages), 4:15 p.m. Tuesday; Meditation Hour (ages 16 and up), 5:30 p.m. Tuesday; Tween & Teen Club: Live Action Pac-Man, 4:30 p.m. Wednesday; Throwback Thursday Movie (all ages), 5:30 p.m. Thursday; Fun Friday: Baby & Toddler Stay & Play (ages 4 and under), 4:30 p.m. July 11; and Whodunit Book Club: Slasher Summer Murder Mystery Party (ages 17 and up), 6:30 p.m. July 12.

Donations requested for Tonya Sledge

Donations are being accepted at PointBank to help cover medical expenses and loss of income for Tonya Sledge, a lifelong Pilot Point caregiver who suffered a stroke June 20. A Go-FundMe account has also been established at gofund.me/0d685db2.

A GoFundMe account has been established for Crystal Davis of Krazy Ace Performance. Davis is battling stage 4 lung cancer and brain cancer. To donate, go to gofundme.com and search Support Crystal Davis in Her Cancer Battle.

Local Fourth of July celebration opportunities

There are a couple of local opportunities to celebrate Independence Day on Friday:

•Fourth of July Celebration, 5 p.m. with fireworks at dusk, Tioga;

•Freedom Fest, 5:30 p.m. with fireworks at 9:45 p.m., 2459 W. Blackjack Road, Aubrey.

Tioga VFD sells raffle tickets

The Tioga Volunteer Fire Department is having the annual Fourth of July fundraiser. Tickets are available for $5 each or $100 for 25 tickets. The raffle will be held Friday. Prizes include a cabin rental in Broken Bow for four nights, gas griddle, smoker and $500 Amazon gift card.

Krugerville Farmers Market seeks sponsors

The Krugerville Farmers Market is looking for sponsors for the July 5 Saturday Night Market which will be from 5-8 p.m. Saturday and include karaoke, food trucks, a hot dog eating contest and a pie baking contest.

PP Chamber to have Christmas in July

The Pilot Point Chamber of Commerce will host the second annual Christmas in July Gift Tour from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. July 12. Only 100 tickets will be sold. Cost is $20 each. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Pilot Point ISD for the upcoming Back to School Bash.

Aubrey Chamber to host luncheon

The Aubrey 380 Area Chamber of Commerce will have a networking luncheon at 11:30 a.m. July 16 at the Aubrey Community Center, 226 Countryside Drive. Guest speaker will be city of Aubrey with food catered by Catered Roots.

PP Health Fair set in July

The first ever Pilot Point Health Fair will be held from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. July 19 at Pilot Point Middle School, 828 S. Harrison St. There will be free health screenings including mammograms and glucose and blood pressure testing.

Summer Music Series continues Friday

Youth summer camps available in the area

There are a variety of youth summer camps available in Pilot Point, Aubrey and Tioga to help families fill their free time.

Back to School Bash scheduled for PP

A Back to School Bash will be from 9 a.m.-noon Aug. 9 at Pilot Point Middle School, 828 S. Harrison St. for Pilot Point ISD students hosted by Pilot Point Police Department, Pilot Point ISD, PPISD Police Department and Pilot Point Chamber of Commerce. There will be free food, school supplies, haircuts and bicycles while supplies last. Students must be present with a parent or guardian to receive supplies.

Drivers needed for Meals on Wheels

Volunteer drivers are needed to deliver Meals on Wheels one day a week Monday-Friday for 2 to 2 1/2 hours from 10:15 a.m.-12:45 p.m. in Aubrey, Krugerville and Pilot Point.
