POLICE REPORT

Aubrey Police Department logged 204 calls from June 30-July 6. Cross Roads Police Department received 48 calls for service between June 30-July 6. Krugerville Police Department reported calls the week of June 30July 7. Pilot Point Police Department responded to 82 calls during the week of June 29-July 5.

FOLLOW UP – Krugerville police contacted Collin County around 11 a.m. Monday in reference to a woman who had been stopped June 29 and was found to be on bond for a felony possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2, greater than 4 grams less than 400 grams.

SHOPLIFTING – On Sunday, Cross Roads PD arrested a man, 63, on a charge of shoplifting in the 11700 block of U.S. 380.

ASSAULT – A woman, 63, was arrested by Aubrey police Sunday on charges of aggravated assault with a weapon family violence, assault on a peace officer, and resisting arrest, search and seizure in the 9800 block of Cherry Hill Lane.

AGENCY ASSIST – Pilot Point PD assisted an outside agency around 2 p.m. Sunday in the 500 block of Blackjack Road.

DWI – A man, 42, was arrested Sunday by APD on a charge of driving while intoxicated open container in the 700 block of U.S. 377.

THEFT – A theft was reported to PPPD at 7:14 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of East Liberty Street.

DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE – A domestic disturbance call was received by Pilot Point police at 7 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of U.S.

377.

HIT AND RUN – An unknown person hit a gate opener and left without contacting the owner Saturday near the intersection of FM 424 and Lake Way, according to the Cross Roads police report.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON – A suspicious person/vehicle was investigated by PPPD at 3:53 p.m. Saturday in the 900 block of Buttercup Drive.

CITATION – A woman, 23, was given a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia during a Cross Roads PD traffic stop investigation Saturday in the 8800 block of U.S. 380.

DWI – A man, 42, was arrested July 4 by APD on a charge of driving while intoxicated with a child passenger younger than 15 years old.

DWI – Aubrey PD arrested a man, 46, July 4 on a charge of driving while intoxicated first in the 7500 block of U.S. 377.

VEHICLE FIRE – At 7:41 a.m. July 4, Aubrey police assisted Aubrey Fire and EMS on a report of a vehicle fire in the 14000 block of Industrial Park. It was discovered that a go cart battery exploded causing the vehicle to catch fire, and the blast blew one of the garage doors off the track.

CRASH – A two-vehicle crash with no reported injuries was dispatched to Cross Roads police July 3 near the intersection of Fishtrap Road and Alamandine Avenue. One vehicle was towed from the scene.

DISTURBANCE – A disturbance was reported July 3 to CRPD in the 2400 block of U.S. 380. Upon investigation, officers found a person attempting to collect a debt.

FORGERY FRAUD – A forgery fraud call was received by Pilot Point PD around 2 p.m. July 3 in the 400 block of West Division Street.

WELFARE CONCERN – Around 1:30 p.m. July 3, PPPD were dispatched to a welfare concern call in the 14000 block of Coness Street.

ANIMAL BITE – Pilot Point police received an animal bite report around 11:30 a.m. July 3 in the 1700 block of North Washington Street.

WELFARE CONCERN – A welfare concern investigation July 3 by Cross Roads PD resulted in the arrest of a woman, 40, on a charge of public intoxication in the 2400 block of U.S. 380.

CRASH – Cross Roads police were dispatched to a crash July 2 near the intersection of U.S. 377 and Fishtrap Road. A man, 24, reported a hit and run accident with no report of injury.

TRAFFIC – Around 8:30 p.m. July 2, Aubrey PD conducted a traffic stop for not displaying a registration sticker near the intersection of U.S. 377 and Arvin Hill Road. Upon speaking to the driver, the officer noticed the smell of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. A probable cause search resulted in finding a grinder, marijuana shake, multiple packs of marijuana rolling papers and several containers with marijuana residue. The man was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON – Krugerville PD responded to a suspicious person call around 5 p.m. July 2 in the 5200 block of U.S. 377.

TERRORISTIC THREAT – A terroristic threat was reported to Pilot Point police at 1:10 p.m. July 2 in the 300 block of Bronco Drive.

CRASH – A single-vehicle crash July 1 investigated by CRPD resulted in the arrest of a woman, 41, on a charge of driving while intoxicated in the 9100 block of Liberty Road.

DISTURBANCE – A disturbance was dispatched to Pilot Point PD around 4 p.m. July 1 in the 100 block of East Liberty Street.

MEET COMPLAINANT – At 2:08 p.m. July 1, Krugerville police met with a Denton woman that stated she could not renew her driver’s license because of an issue in Krugerville. It was determined that Krugerville PD had no hold on her license for failure to appear.

ACCIDENT – Krugerville police were dispatched to a single-vehicle accident around 1 p.m. July 1 near the intersection of U.S. 377 and Arvin Hill Road. A woman was reportedly traveling south on U.S. 377 and turned right onto a side street while going too fast causing the vehicle to rollover on its top after falling into a drainage culvert. The driver was taken to Medical City Denton for treatment.

ASSAULT – A man reported to KVPD at 9:49 p.m. June 30 that an assault had occurred in the 400 block of Baseline Road.

ASSAULT – A man, 45, was arrested by Aubrey police June 30 on charges of assault by contact family violence and harassment in the 300 block of Highmeadow Drive.

HARASSMENT – At 3:24 p.m. June 30, PPPD responded to a harassment call in the 1700 block of North Washington Street.

THEFT – An office building was reportedly burglarized with forced entry June 30 in the 8700 block of U.S. 377, according to the Cross Roads police report.

BURLGARY – Pilot Point police received a burglary call around 9 a.m. June 30 in the 14000 block of Ladbroke Street.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS – A report of criminal trespass was investigated by PPPD around 11 p.m. June 29 in the 1200 block of U.S. 377.
