PP Chamber to host Christmas in July
The Pilot Point Chamber of Commerce will host the second annual Christmas in July Gift Tour from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. Only 100 tickets will be sold. Cost is $20 each. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Pilot Point ISD for the upcoming Back to School Bash.

PPFFA collects gift cards for victims
The Pilot Point FFA is collecting gift cards to be donated to the July 4 flood victims at the Pilot Point High School front office from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Participants are asked to label gift cards in permanent ink with the dollar amounts between $10-50.
Requested cards include Walmart, HEB, Lowe’s, Home Depot and Visa/Mastercard.
Nature Exploration Day at Isle du Bois
The Isle du Bois Unit, 100 PW 4137 in Pilot Point will have Nature Center Exploration Day, 10 a.m. Saturday, Nature Center.

Garage Door Theater to hold auditions
The Garage Door Theater will hold auditions for the upcoming performance of “Deathtrap” by Ira Levin from 6-8 p.m. July 20-21 at 110 S. Washington St. The play is a suspenseful, clever thriller full of twists, deception and dark humor.
The cast will include three men and two women ages 25 and up with performance dates set for Sept. 12-14 and 19-21.

Lovepacs to host open house
Lovepacs Aubrey/Pilot Point has a new location and will be hosting an open house for the public from 3-5 p.m. July 27 at 4940 U.S. 377 Ste. 7 in Aubrey. Participants are asked to bring a packed weekend bag to receive two entries for door prizes. A weekend bag includes ramen, applesauce cup, oatmeal, Pop-Tarts, microwave popcorn, two granola bars and box of mac and cheese or pasta cup.
Donations for the upcoming school year can be dropped off at PointBank, Martin General Store, Brookshire Brothers and the Pilot Point Senior Center. The most needed items at this time are boxes of mac and cheese and granola bars. Financial donations can be made at lovepacs. org.

Back to School Bash scheduled for PP
A Back to School Bash will be from 9 a.m.-noon Aug. 9 at Pilot Point Middle School, 828 S.
