Aubrey student attends New York Institute
Sydney Atkins of Aubrey has been accepted for the fall 2025 semester at the New York Institute of Technology.
The University of Arkansas in Fayetteville announced the spring 2025 Chancellor’s List for students maintaining a 4.0 grade point average for the semester while completing at least 12 credit hours including Nevaeh Camarillo of Aubrey, finance; Alyssa Lindlau of Aubrey, psychology; and Loren Gossett of Cross Roads, exercise science.
Other area students named to the President’s List are Joslyn Marshall of Aubrey, University of Central Arkansas; Kat Wiley of Aubrey, Ohio University; Lacy Loyd of Aubrey, University of Alabama; Abby Hammett of Krugerville, Kennesaw State University; James Fife of Providence Village, University of Texas at Tyler; and Marissa Baietto of Aubrey, Iowa State University.
Local students named to Dean’s Lists
Aubrey students named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2025 semester from Iowa State University include Marissa Baietto, statistics, and Cadence R. Fagan, elementary education.
The University of Maryland Global Campus announced the spring Dean’s Honor Roll as Sandeep Adapa of Aubrey; Alain Mugisha of Aubrey; Rashmitha Tallapalli of Aubrey; and Rakita Payne of Pilot Point.
The spring 2025 Dean’s List honorees from the University of Texas at Tyler were Sydney Collins of Aubrey, school of health professions; Katherine Fetters of Krugerville, school of nursing; and Makenna Porter of Savannah, school of nursing.

Salazar receives Provost’s List honor
Kathy Salazar of Aubrey was named to the Ohio University College of Health Sciences and Professions spring 2025 Provost’s List in Athens, Ohio. Qualifying students must earn a 3.5 or higher grade point average while taking 6-12 credit hours.

to Phi Kappa Phi
Consonya Owens of Aubrey who attends Texas A&M University was elected to membership into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society.
Brown graduates from University of RI
Eboney Brown of Pilot Point earned a bachelor of arts in Africana studies from the University of Rhode Island during the May 2025 ceremonies.
Student athlete named to LSC Honor Roll
Owen Seaver of Krugerville, a business administration major, was named to the Angelo State University spring 2025 semester Lone Star Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll for academic performance in San Angelo.
In addition, he has been honored with a 2024-25 Academic Achievement Award by the Division II Athletic Directors Association. To be eligible, student athletes must maintain a minimum 3.5 grade point average, have completed a minimum of two years of college and have been an active member of an intercollegiate athletic team during the previous academic year.
