The Pilot Point First United Methodist Church Youth are collecting new and used towels to benefit All American Dogs, an animal shelter in Pilot Point. The last day to donate will be Sunday.

Early voting to start in Texas
Early voting in Texas will be from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Oct. 25, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Oct. 26 and 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Oct. 2731 with Election Day being 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Nov. 4. There will be 17 proposed amendments to the state constitution this year, along with a variety of local and special elections.
