Early voting continues through Oct. 31
Early voting in Texas continues from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Oct. 31 with Election Day being 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Nov. 4. There are 17 proposed amendments to the state constitution this year.

Tioga City Council seeks applicants
The Tioga City Council is considering appointing a resident to fill a vacant position on the City Council. Applicants must have lived within the city limits for six months and be registered to vote in Tioga.

Both Aubrey and Pilot Point marching bands have advanced to the UIL Area Marching Band competitions to be held at C.H. Collins Athletic Complex, 1500 Long Road in Denton. General admission is $8 for ages 12 and up (ages 65 and over are free).

Benefit for Clint Harral at American Legion
