Early voting continues through Oct. 31
Early voting in Texas continues from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Oct. 31 with Election Day being 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Nov. 4. There are 17 proposed amendments to the state constitution this year.

Tioga City Council seeks applicants
The Tioga City Council is considering appointing a resident to fill a vacant position on the City Council. Applicants must have lived within the city limits for six months and be registered to vote in Tioga.
