Photo Holiday Cards at PP library

The Pilot Point Community Library at 324 S. Washington St. will offer adult craft: Photo Holiday Cards, 2 p.m. Friday; kids movie: “The Grinch,” noon Dec. 13; and Game Day Saturday, 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Dec. 20.

The Food for Fines will continue through December to waive overdue library fines by bringing canned goods or nonperishable food.

PPPD taking Blue Santa applications, donations

The Pilot Point Police Department is accepting applications for those in need at Christmas who reside in Pilot Point for children ages infant to 17 through Friday at 1797 N. Washington St.

Monetary donations and new, unwrapped toys will also be accepted. For more information, contact Officer Trieu at commserv@pilotpointtx. gov.

Canned food drives for Shepherd’s Storehouse

Durham School Services will have a “Polar Express” bus at Christmas on the Square on Saturday, serving as a drop off location for food donations for Shepherd’s Storehouse.

Texas Republic Bank, Haughton Law Group and Healthy Gait Chiropractic are also collecting canned food for Shepherd’s Storehouse during the Christmas season.

TVFD to sponsor Breakfast with Santa

The annual Breakfast with Santa event will be from 8-11 a.m. Saturday. To donate, call Chief Hartman at 903-294-9077.

The Tioga Volunteer Fire Department is having a Christmas raffle through Saturday. Tickets cost $5 each or $100 for 25 tickets. Prizes include a two-night stay at a luxury cabin in Broken Bow and a $500 and $250 Amazon gift card.

Pancakes, Cantata at PPFUMC

The Pilot Point First United Methodist Church will host Pancakes with Santa from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday at 217 S. Church St. There will be a complimentary breakfast, free gift wrapping and a bake sale.

The annual Community Christmas Cantata, “Glory to the Newborn King,” will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at PPFUMC. All are invited to attend.

Carter BloodCare to have blood drive

The Carter BloodCare will have a blood drive from 3:30-8 p.m. Saturday during the Pilot Point Christmas on the Square event in Downtown Pilot Point sponsored by the Lake Ray Roberts Rotary Club and the city of Pilot Point.

Aubrey ISD will host the annual Career and Technical Education Career Exploration Day from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday at Owens Middle School, providing students the opportunity to explore a variety of career paths by visiting company tables, asking questions and learning from professionals. Lunch will be provided for two representatives per business.

Business Accelerator class to begin in Aubrey

The Aubrey Local Business Accelerator 2026 class will run from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesdays from Jan. 7-Feb. 25 at the Aubrey Community Center, 226 Countryside Drive. This eight-week course is designed to help small business owners and entrepreneurs in the Aubrey City Limits and its ETJ.

PP Community Arts to produce ‘Christmas Carol’

Auditions for “Curse of the Mummy” will be held from 6-8 p.m. Dec. 15-16, consisting of cold readings from script for four women and six men ages 20 to 60.

Wrapping Party, luncheon at Aubrey Chamber

The Aubrey 380 Area Chamber of Commerce will host a Wrapping Party from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Dec. 16 at 205 S. Main St. Participants can bring their gifts for free wrapping and enjoy bites and sips.

Senior Paws Pet Drive for Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels will be having a Senior Paws Holiday Pet Drive for clients with pets during the holiday season through Dec. 16 at the Pilot Point Senior Center, 310 S. Washington St. Needed items include dry and canned pet food, treats, toys, flea prevention and basic care items.

Volunteer drivers are needed to deliver Meals on Wheels one day a week Monday-Friday for 2 to 2 1/2 hours from 10:15 a.m.-12:45 p.m. in Aubrey, Krugerville and Pilot Point. For more information, call Cindy Faris at 972-838-3259.

Toys for Tots drop-off locations

The Marine Toys for Tots drop-off locations for Aubrey include AISD Administration/ Early Bird Learning Center, Aubrey High School, McNabb Middle School, Brockett Elementary, Fuller Elementary, Monaco Elementary, Owens Middle School, West Elementary, Aubrey Pharmacy, Aubrey City Hall, Aubrey Fire Department Station No. 1, Aubrey Police Department, Aubrey Library, Ciera Bank, Freedom Vapes and PointBank.

In Pilot Point, toys can be dropped off at Nick’s Italian Restaurant, Nu Image, Kainos Community CrossFit, Pilot Point Feed Store, PointBank, Post-Signal, City Hall, PP Fire/ Police departments, PPISD Administration, PP Early Childhood Learning Center, PP High School, PP Middle School, PP Elementary and TNMP.

HOPE Food Ministry asking for food, clothing

The HOPE Food and Clothing Ministry is asking for nonperishable food items, clothing and personal care items at 819 Sherman Drive in Aubrey. Donations can also be dropped off at Keller Williams Realty, 806 S. U.S. 377 in Aubrey.
