The Ray Roberts Lake State Park Johnson Branch Unit, 100 PW 4153 in Valley View will have Holiday Crafts, 11 a.m. Saturday, Nature Center; Hot Cocoa with a Ranger, 10 a.m. Dec. 20, Kid Fish Pond; Winter SOLEstice Guided Hike, 9 a.m. Dec. 21, Nature Center parking lot; and Winter Wildlife, 10 a.m. Dec. 27, Nature Center.
The Isle du Bois Unit, 100 PW 4137 in Pilot Point will offer Oh, Deer! Texas Reindeer Relatives, 10 a.m. Saturday, and Wild Christmas Campfire, 5 p.m. Saturday, Lost Pines Amphitheater.
The First Day Hike Tri-Park-A-Thon will be held from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Jan. 1: Greenbelt Unit, 8:30 a.m. 428 entrance; Isle de Bois Unit, 11 a.m. boat ramp parking lot; and Johnson Branch Unit, 1:30 p.m. Dogwood Canyon parking lot or Nature Center parking lot.

The Food for Fines will continue through December to waive overdue library fines by bringing canned goods or nonperishable food.

PP Community Arts to produce ‘Christmas Carol’

Wreaths Across America in Pilot Point, Tioga
Wreaths Across America will hold ceremonies at 11 a.m. Saturday at the St. Thomas Cemetery in Pilot Point and the Tioga Cemetery at 14667 FM 922. Wreaths will be placed on veteran’s graves while we remember, honor and teach. All are invited to attend.
Santa’s Trip around Aubery
Santa will be making a trip around Aubrey with the Aubrey Fire Department.

Wrapping Party, luncheon at Aubrey Chamber
The Aubrey 380 Area Chamber of Commerce will host a Wrapping Party from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday at 205 S. Main St. Participants can bring their gifts for free wrapping and enjoy bites and sips.
The monthly networking luncheon will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Rancho De La Roca, 2459 W. Blackjack Road in Aubrey. Registration closes at 5 p.m. Tuesday at aubreycoc.org.
Senior Paws Pet Drive for Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels will be having a Senior Paws Holiday Pet Drive for clients with pets during the holiday season through Tuesday at the Pilot Point Senior Center, 310 S. Washington St. Needed items include dry and canned pet food, treats, toys, flea prevention and basic care items.
Volunteer drivers are needed to deliver Meals on Wheels one day a week Monday-Friday for 2 to 2 1/2 hours from 10:15 a.m.-12:45 p.m. in Aubrey, Krugerville and Pilot Point. For more information, call Cindy Faris at 972-8383259.
Business Accelerator class to begin in Aubrey
The Aubrey Local Business Accelerator 2026 class will run from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesdays from Jan. 7-Feb. 25 at the Aubrey Community Center, 226 Countryside Drive. This eight-week course is designed to help small business owners and entrepreneurs in the Aubrey City Limits and its ETJ.

The Marine Toys for Tots drop-off locations for Aubrey include AISD Administration/ Early Bird Learning Center, Aubrey High School, McNabb Middle School, Brockett Elementary, Fuller Elementary, Monaco Elementary, Owens Middle School, West Elementary, Aubrey Pharmacy, Aubrey City Hall, Aubrey Fire Department Station No. 1, Aubrey Police Department, Aubrey Library, Ciera Bank, Freedom Vapes and PointBank.
In Pilot Point, toys can be dropped off at Nick’s Italian Restaurant, Nu Image, Kainos Community CrossFit, Pilot Point Feed Store, PointBank, Post-Signal, City Hall, PP Fire/Police departments, PPISD Administration, PP Early Childhood Learning Center, PP High School, PP Middle School, PP Elementary and TNMP.

HOPE Food Ministry asking for food, clothing
The HOPE Food and Clothing Ministry is asking for nonperishable food items, clothing and personal care items at 819 Sherman Drive in Aubrey. Donations can also be dropped off at Keller Williams Realty, 806 S. U.S. 377 in Aubrey.
