Aubrey Police Department logged 185 calls during the week of Dec. 22-28. Cross Roads Police Department received 44 calls for service between Dec. 22-28.
SHOPLIFTING – Two women, 31 and 45, were given citations for shoplifting Sunday by CRPD in the 11700 block of U.S. 380.
WARRANT – On Saturday, Aubrey police arrested a 39-year-old on a warrant charge in the 1300 block of Portsmouth Drive.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS – A man, 65, who had reportedly taken eyeglasses in the 11700 block of U.S. 380 was issued a criminal trespass warning Dec. 26 by CRPD.
CRASH – A two-vehicle crash with no report of injury was investigated Dec. 26 by Cross Roads PD near the intersection of U.S. 380 and U.S. 377.
CRASH – A singlevehicle hit a utility pole Dec. 25 near the intersection of U.S.380 and FM 424 with no report of injury, according to Cross Roads police.
THEFT – A CRPD theft investigation Dec. 24 resulted in a woman, 30, being given a citation for theft and another woman, 35, being arrested on an outside agency warrant in the 11700 block of U.S. 380.
ASSAULT – A teenager was arrested on a charge of assault causes bodily injury/family violence Dec. 24 by Aubrey PD in the 2000 block of Welsh Lane.
CRASH – A two-vehicle crash investigation was reported to CRPD on Dec. 24 near the intersection of U.S. 380 and FM 424.
POSSESSION – Aubrey police arrested a 29-year-old Dec. 24 on charges of possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2, greater than 4 grams less than 400 grams, and resisting arrest, search or transport in the 1300 block of Providence Boulevard.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS – A man, 47, who refused to leave while a store was closing was issued a criminal trespass warning Dec. 24 by Cross Roads PD in the 11700 block of U.S. 380.
DAMAGE – A man, 27, reported to CRPD on Dec. 23 that an unknown person damaged his vehicle with a shopping cart in the 11700 block of U.S. 380.
CRASH – A two-vehicle crash investigation Dec. 22 by Cross Roads PD resulted in one person being transported to the hospital near the intersection of U.S. 380 and FM 424.
TRAFFIC – A resident reported to Cross Roads police Dec. 22 that he swerved to avoid a dog standing in the road resulting in minor damage to his vehicle in the 3800 block of Historic Lane.
ASSAULT – A 42-year-old was arrested Dec. 22 by APD on a charge of assault on a peace officer in the 300 block of Highmeadow Drive.
