The wildflflowers that dot the Ray Roberts Lake State Park system aren’t there purely by accident or nature.
Members of the park system staff actively work to help the wildflflower population flourish throughout the different park units to help visitors have a look at the flowers native to the area.
“Our dream is to be … a wildflflower destination,” Johnson Branch Unit Assistant Superintendent Scott Eager said.
