Let’s support our teachers by voting yes
We ask a lot of our teachers.
In today's competitive North Texas job market, Pilot Point ISD is in a fierce race for top-tier educators, and we're not the only district recruiting them.
If we want the best to stay in Pilot Point rather than commute to neighboring districts, we need to show them this community is genuinely invested in their professional home.
When teachers have modern classrooms and the right resources, they do their best work, and our kids reap the benefits.
This bond isn't just an investment in bricks and mortar.
It's an investment in our workforce.
It supports better teacher-to-student ratios as we manage growth and provides the specialized spaces that make great teaching possible.
But let's be clear about what's at stake if we don't act.
Without this bond, our classrooms don't stay the same, they fall further behind.
Aging facilities, overcrowding and outdated spaces make it harder to recruit and retain the talented educators our students deserve.
In a competitive market, teachers have options.
We should make sure Pilot Point is one they choose.
I have two grandkids in PPISD.
Not only do I want this for them, I want it for every student who walks through the doors of this district.
Every child in Pilot Point deserves a learning environment that sets them up to succeed.
By voting yes, we send a clear message to our staff and our students: We see your hard work, and this community has your back.
Supported teachers lead to successful students, and successful students build a stronger Pilot Point for all of us.
