Farmers Market, movie in Gainesville
The April Gainesville Farmers Market will be from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at 215 W. Elm St. with a free movie screening of “Zootopia 2” starting at dark.

The Cooke County Arts Council will present Sights & Sounds: A Showcase of the Arts with a reception at 6.m. Saturday followed by performances at 7 p.m. at the First State Bank Center for the Performing Arts, North Central Texas College, 1525 W. California St. in Gainesville.

North Central Chorale to perform
The North Central Texas Chorale will perform Joseph M. Martin’s cantata “A Journey to Hope” at 7 p.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church, 401 S. Denton St. in Gainesville. Tickets will be $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.

The next Downtown Sanger Farmers Market will be from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. April 18 and 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. April 19.
Medal of Honor 5K Run, Walk
