OPINION
I walked the halls of these school buildings as a kid many years ago and can proudly say I am a Pilot Point graduate.
I also walked through the halls as a teacher for Pilot Point ISD.
Today I feel blessed that my kids have the opportunity to call Pilot Point home.
As a local business owner and parent to three active kids, my biggest investment is their future.
And if I can take the time to support and invest in their youth sports and fine arts experiences, then why would I have doubts about investing in their academic career.
I am voting YES for the PPISD Bond for many reasons.
This will make our schools even safer by adding and improving to the security systems in place.
My kids will have access to new programs, not to mention having more space and less crowded classrooms.
As athletes, they will also have improved athletic facilities.
I am excited for this huge step forward we are taking to give our kids what they need!
