The Ray Roberts Lake State Park Johnson Branch Unit, 100 PW 4153 in Valley View will offer Arts in the Park-Letters from the Lake, 10 a.m. Saturday, Nature Center, and Be Water Smart, 2 p.m. Aug. 7, Nature Center.

‘Elf The Musical Jr.’ at Starbright Center

Pilot Point Elementary will host Meet the Teacher on Aug. 6 for first and fourth grades from 5-6:30 p.m. with second, third and fifth grades from 6-7:30 p.m. at 501 E. Carol St.
The Pilot Point PTO will sponsor Chalk the Walk on Aug. 8-9 as a come and go event for community members to write encouraging messages for students in anticipation of the first day of school.
Aubrey ISD to hold Chaparral Link
Aubrey ISD will have The Chaparral Link from 10:30 a.m.2:30 p.m. Aug. 8 at Owens Middle School, 5000 FM 2931. This will be a free community event for Aubrey ISD students and includes school supplies, haircuts, food trucks, dental screenings, and campus and district information.

Meals on Wheels needs drivers
Volunteer drivers are needed to deliver Meals on Wheels one day a week Monday-Friday for 2 to 2 1/2 hours from 10:15 a.m.-12:45 p.m. in Aubrey, Krugerville and Pilot Point.
