Aubrey adds parking

The historic downtown Aubrey is undergoing parking improvements.

The large dirt mound behind Aubrey City Hall covers more than an acre and will hold 127 public parking spots.

“We wanted to add more accessible and safe parking for events like the peanut festival,” said Ethan Keith, Infrastructure Inspector with Aubrey. “We're looking at improving the downtown infrastructure with new businesses that are coming in and adding more parking for the businesses that are existing in town.”
