Krugerville City Council adopted a tax rate and budget for the fiscal year 2026-27 at the Sept. 15 meeting.
The proposed M&O rate was $0.338738 and the debt rate was $0.089863, for a total rate of $0.428601 per $100 assessed valuation.
“I move that the property tax rate be increased by the adoption of a tax rate of $0.428601, which is effectively … a 3.30 percentage increase in the tax rate as reflected within ordinance 2026-010,” council member Stacey Sasser read.
