Legacy Run at Johnson Branch

The Isle du Bois Unit, 100 PW 4137 in Pilot Point will have the following events at the Lost Pines Amphitheater: Become a Junior Ranger, 10 a.m. Saturday; Vital Vultures, 2 p.m. Saturday; and Tarantula Talk, 10 a.m. Sept. 26.

Mahjong, robotics at PP library

The Pilot Point Community Library at 324 S. Washington St. will have Mahjong (open play, ages 12 and up), 4 p.m. Tuesday; Boys and Girls Club: Lego Robotics (ages 6-12), 4 p.m. Wednesday; and Adult Craft: String Art, 2 p.m. Sept. 25.

Aubrey plans Peanut Festival

The 40th annual Aubrey Peanut Festival will open at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 3 with a parade at 10 a.m. in downtown Aubrey. There will be a free kid zone, free pony rides, over 200 vendors, live music, photo ops, free petting zoo and food trucks.

Marching Classic set for Aubrey

Main Street plans Bonnie, Clyde Days

The first annual Take the Money and Run 5K or 1-mile fun walk will begin at 8 a.m. Oct. 10 in historic Pilot Point in advance of the Bonnie and Clyde Days festival. Registration will be $40. The deadline to enter will be Oct. 4 at pilotpoint. org.

The Bonnie and Clyde Days festival will be from 2-9 p.m. on the Historic Pilot Point Square with food and craft vendors, live music and a kids zone.
