Town Attorney Fritz Quast explains that the vote on the tax rate needs to be split into the maintenance and operations rate and the debt service rate for the motion. The council unanimously approved the combined tax rate $0.511093 per $100 valuation as well as the 2026-27 budget at the Tuesday evening council meeting.
