The Aubrey High School drumline brought home two new trophies from the Pilot Point Drumline Invitational, held at Pilot Point ISD's Massey Stadium on Saturday.
The team earned first place in the 4A Division and first place as Overall Grand Champion.
After each ensemble’s performance throughout the contest, two clinicians— Joe Smith, director of percussion and beginner percussion at Wills Point ISD, and Addison Pellegrino, the percussion director at Burleson Centennial High School—provided feedback through an on-field clinic, with the focus on improvement.
