The Ray Roberts Lake State Park Johnson Branch Unit, 100 PW 4153 in Valley View will have Carleton’s Catfish Catch-A-Thon, 9 a.m. June 7, Kid Fish Pond.
The Isle du Bois Unit, 100 PW 4137 in Pilot Point will offer Nature Therapy, 10 a.m. June 14, Lost Pines Amphitheater.

PP library seeks volunteers
The Pilot Point Community Library at 324 S. Washington St. is needing volunteers to help with the annual summer reading program. If interested, apply in person at the library.
The summer reading program, “Color Our World,” will start June 3 for children ages 3-12, teens ages 13-18 and adults. Reading logs can be picked up at the front desk and turned in to win prizes from June 10-July 31.

The Aubrey Area Library at 226 Countryside Drive will be closed Saturday for Memorial Day. Cedar Ridge Rehab to have car wash
Cedar Ridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center will have a car wash from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday at 1700 N. Washington St. The cost will be $5. Proceeds will benefit the Political Action Committee in an effort to protect residents and their Medicare and Medicaid benefits.
Murph Fundraiser to benefit PP Firefighters
The fourth annual Murph Fundraiser will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Kainos Community CrossFit, 1111 Enterprise Drive.

PPISD to offer conditioning camps
Pilot Point ISD will offer summer strength and conditioning camps for incoming seventh through 12th grade athletes.
Camps will run Monday-Thursday starting the first week of June and going through the end of July. High school boys will be from 7-9 a.m., junior high boys will be from 8:30-10 a.m. and high school/junior high girls will be from 8-10 a.m.

Rancho Roundup Charity Car Show in Aubrey
The Rancho Roundup Charity Car Show will be from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. June 7 at 2459 W. Blackjack Road in Aubrey.
