Aubrey Police Department logged 230 calls from May 12-18. Cross Roads Police Department received 35 calls for service between May 19-25. Krugerville Police Department reported calls the week of May 19-26.
ACCIDENT – Krugerville police were dispatched to an accident at 9:45 p.m. Monday involving a woman swerving to avoid an animal and hitting a mailbox in the 500 block of Surveyors Road.
WARRANTS – A driver was arrested Sunday by CRPD during a traffic stop investigation on outstanding Dallas County warrants in the 10000 block of U.S. 380.
ARREST – On Sunday, a man, 27, was arrested by Aubrey police on a charge of violation of bond/protective order two times within 12 months in the 1600 block of Main Street.
ANIMAL BITE – A man doing lawn maintenance Saturday was bitten in the leg by a dog in the 400 block of Surveyors Road, according to the KVPD report.
PAROLE VIOLATION – A man, 58, was arrested Saturday by Aubrey PD on a warrant charge for parole violation of a controlled substance near the intersection of Winn Ridge Boulevard and Brisco Way.
THEFT – A man, 55, was arrested May 23 by APD on a charge of theft of property, greater than $750, less than $2,500, in the 700 block of U.S. 380.
TRAFFIC STOP – A traffic stop investigation May 22 by Cross Roads PD in the 10000 block of U.S. 380 resulted in a man, 20, receiving a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.
SUPSICIOUS PERSON – A suspicious person/vehicle was stopped for no license plates displayed by KVPD at 9:47 p.m. May 20 in the 9000 block of Ike Byrom Road. A probable cause search revealed tires which were confirmed to be stolen. The man, 40, was arrested and taken to the Denton County Jail.
REFERRAL – A referral was made to Cross Roads police May 20 when a business operator reported a customer had not paid for merchandise per an agreement in the 12000 block of U.S. 380.
CRASH – Krugerville PD responded to a crash around 11:30 a.m. May 20 involving an Aubrey woman who was traveling north on U.S. 377 when a vehicle in front of her stopped abruptly causing her to swerve to the right and end up in the culvert. No injuries were reported.
AGENCY ASSIST – Around 1 a.m. May 20, KVPD provided agency assistance in the 100 block of Red Oak Drive.
HIT AND RUN – A man reported to Krugerville police around 9 p.m. May 19 that an unknown vehicle hit his work truck between May 16 and May 19 in the 700 block of Fairmeadow Drive.
ASSAULT – A teenager was arrested May 19 by Aubrey PD on a charge of assault causes bodily injury to a family member in the 11000 block of Los Alamos Drive.
THEFT – An investigation of a cell phone theft resulted in a foot pursuit May 19 by CRPD in the 11000 block of U.S. 380. A woman, 28, was arrested on Dallas County felony warrants.
CRASH – A crash was dispatched to Krugerville PD at 7:16 a.m. May 19 in the 4700 block of U.S. 377. According to the report, a driver was traveling north and swerved to avoid hitting a vehicle stopped preparing to make a left turn causing the first vehicle to lose control and overturn.
