Summer activities to start at PP library
The Pilot Point Community Library at 324 S. Washington St. will offer Wacky Wednesday: Mad Science (all ages), 10 a.m. Wednesday; Stitch and Sketch (ages 10 to adult), 11 a.m. Thursday; movie screening (adults), “Book Club: The Next Chapter,” 11:30 a.m. June 7; and Game Day Saturday, 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. June 14.
The summer reading program, “Color Our World,” is for children ages 3-12, teens ages 13-18 and adults. Reading logs can be picked up at the front desk starting Tuesday and turned in to win prizes from June 10-July 31. The city of Pilot Point will have a runoff election for Place 6 with early voting from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. through Saturday and 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday with election day voting from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. June 7 at the Pilot Point Senior Center, 310 S. Washington St.

PP Neighborhood Events to host Gunner’s reunion
Pilot Point Neighborhood Events will be hosting a tail wagging welcome home for Gunner and his family from 6-8 p.m. Friday on the Historic Square. There will be food trucks, adoption opportunities from All American Dogs, free microchipping by Hooves and Paws Pet Hospital and fun activities for the whole family including furry friends. Donations such as dog beds, toys and food will be collected for local animal shelters.
Youth Lock-in at Calvary Baptist
Calvary Baptist Church will sponsor a Calvary Youth Lock-in: The Amazing Race for middle and high school students from 8 p.m. Friday until 8 a.m. Saturday at 125 N. Jefferson St. There will be Amazing Racethemed challenges, food, games and prizes. Permission slips are required.

Pilot Point ISD will offer free summer meals for children ages 18 and younger on Monday-Thursday through June 30. Chamber golf tournament at The Bridges
The Pilot Point Chamber of Commerce will host the 27th annual Pilot Point Chamber Challenge golf tournament June 13 with registration at 7 a.m. and tee off at 8 a.m. at The Bridges Golf Club, 2400 Fred Couples Drive in Gunter. Rancho Roundup Charity Car Show in Aubrey
