Pilot Point Police Department Chief Angela Mathews speaks to the Lake Ray Robers Rotary Club on Tuesday about her background and her goals for the department. Mathews, who has been the chief for four months, wants to put a heavy emphasis on community policing, which she has a background in growing at the Killeen Police Department, as well as in improving the department's culture, which she said includes holding herself and her officers to high standards.
