Nature Center Exploration at Isle du Bois

The Isle du Bois Unit, 100 PW 4137 in Pilot Point will have Nature Center Exploration Day, 10 a.m. Saturday, Nature Center, and Nature Therapy, 10 a.m. June 21, Lost Pines Amphitheater.

Wildlife on the Move at PP library

The Pilot Point Community Library at 324 S. Washington St. will offer Game Day, 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday; Preschool Storytime with first responders (ages 0-5), 10 a.m. Tuesday; Coding Club (ages 6-8), 2 p.m. Tuesday; Wacky Wednesday: Wildlife on the Move (all ages), 10 a.m. Wednesday; Plant Propagation: Denton County Master Gardeners, 2 p.m. June 20; and Kids Movie Screening: “Moana 2,” 11:30 a.m. June 21. The summer reading program will go through July 31.

The library will be closed Thursday for Juneteenth.

Volunteers needed for Cross Roads Market

PPISD to offer free summer meals

Pilot Point ISD will offer free summer meals for children ages 18 and younger Monday-Thursday through June 30. Breakfast will be from 8:30-9 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m.-noon at the Pilot Point Early Childhood Center, 829 S. Jefferson St.; Pilot Point High School, 1300 N. Washington St.; and Pioneer Baptist Church, 100 Cumberland Trail in Valley View.

Summer Music Series continues in June

The second Summer Music Series will be held from 5-9 p.m. June 20 at Veterans Memorial Park in Aubrey. There will be bounce houses, water slides, vendors and food trucks. Dreams Music Academy will perform at 5 p.m. followed by the Tim Lightyear band at 6 p.m. and the Max and Heather Stalling band at 7:30 p.m.

The Tioga Farmers Market will be held from 6-9 p.m. June 27 on Gene Autry Drive.

PP Farmers Market, Art Walk end of June

The next Pilot Point Farmers Market will be from 8 a.m.-noon June 28 on the Historic Downtown Square. There will be handmade goods and home-baked products. Live music will be provided by Matt Grigsby.

The second annual Art Walk will be held in conjunction with the market. Tickets cost $20 and can be purchased at pilotpoint. org.

Tioga VFD sells raffle tickets

The Tioga Volunteer Fire Department is having the annual Fourth of July fundraiser. Tickets are $5 each or $100 for 25 tickets. The raffle will be held July 4.
